Tokyo,the capital of Japan, is one of the largest cities of the world with a population of over 12 millions. Its long history of prosperity started with the establishment of the Shogunate by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1603. At that time, Tokyo was called Edo, which by the 18th century had grown to a huge city of over a million people.
The Metropolitan Government Office which runs the city, Tokyo Station constructed in 1914 as the largest brick building in Japan, the Odaiba Marine park commanding a wide ocean view, Sky-tree Tele-communication tower with 634m height, are just a few examples of the sightseeing spots of this charming city full of history and tradition, that is continually generating new points of interest.
Kyoto was Japan’s capital and the emperor’s residence from 794 until 1868. It is now the country’s seventh largest city with a population of 1.4 million people and with a modern face. Over the centuries, Kyoto was destroyed by many wars and fires, but due to its historic value, the city was dropped from the list of target cities for the atomic bomb and spared from air raids during World War II. Countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures survived in the city today. Kyoto is one of the most alluring cities in the world.
Itsukushima shrine, located in Miyajima
Itsukushima shrine, located in Miyajima, is a unique shrine that looks as if it is floating in the sea. It boasts of a solemn and gorgeous architectural beauty in the Shinden-style, the palace style popular around the 10th century. The O-torii Gate is usually half submerged in the sea, but you can walk to it from the seashore at low tide.

Meet and greet by a guide and transfer to Tokyo. City tour, visiting Asakusa (Senso-ji & Nakamise) and Tokyo National museum, or others.

Day 2
Full day tour of Tokyo, visiting Tsukiji Fishery Market,
Meiji Shrine for private purification and enjoy “Kagura” dance & music. Then to Odaiba and Akihabara-electric town.

Lunch at Tsukiji Fishery Area: Sushi or today’s fish menu
Dinner: at Izaka-ya
Overnight stay at hotel in Tokyo
Day 3
Mt. Fuji
Leave for Mt. Fuji (3,776m) through picturesque Fuji-Subaru Skyline, up to the 5th station (2,305m).
Then drive to Hakone National Park, enjoy cruise at the Lake Ashi and panoramic view from Mt. Komagatake to where go up by an aerial cableway.

Day 4
(or Mishima)
Morning enjoy hot-spring until departure. After lunch, transfer to Odawara (or Mishima) Station.
Board Tokaido Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto (140mins.)
Upon arrival at Kyoto, proceed to city tour, visiting Kiyomizu-temple, Nijo Castle, Handicrafts center and others.

Dinner at city restaurant: Kyo-kaiseki
Overnight stay at hotel in Kyoto
Day 5
Full-day tour of Kyoto visiting;Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Ryoan-ji Temple, Shimogamo Shrine, and enjoy stroll over Nishiki-market narrow street, and others. Experience tea-ceremony.

Lunch en route at city restaurant, Yudofu lunch.
Dinner at Sukiyaki-restaurant

Day 6
Nara - Kyoto
Full-day excursion trip to Nara, the ancient capital called Heijo-kyo, established in 710 AD. It was an international city modeled on the capital of Tang Dynasty China.
Visit Todai-ji (the Great Buddha) & Horyu-ji.

Day 7
After breakfast, transfer to Kyoto station to board JR Shinkansen train “NOZOMI” for Hiroshima. (100mins.)
Upon arrival at Hiroshima, visit Miyajima & Itsukushima Shrine by ferry and local train.

Lunch at local restaurant in Miya-jima
Return to Hiroshima by hydrofoil directly in the city center.
Dinner at ‘Okonomi-yaki’ restaurant, specialties in Hiroshima
Overnight stay at hotel in Hiroshima
Day 8
Morning, city tour of Hiroshima, visiting Peace Memorial Park & Museum, and the tour ends at Hiroshima station.
Board the Sanyo Shinkansen (bullet train) for Osaka.

Lunch on board ‘Obento’

Upon arrival at Osaka, visit Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky Bldg. (floating garden observatory), and stroll over Shinsai-bashi shopping arcade.

Day 9
Kansai Int’l Airport (KIX) Departure
Transfer to Kansai International airport.
Tour ends at the airport.
